Dr. Gabriele G. Bugli
While at the University of Michigan, Dr. Bugli met his best friend and future wife Terri. They have been married for over 35 years and have 3 wonderful children. Their oldest daughter lives and works in San Francisco and is married with 2 children. Their son works for the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta and regularly travels to Africa for CDC assignments. Their youngest daughter is a teacher in Raleigh, NC and is married with 2 dogs and recently had a baby boy. All three children followed in their parents footsteps and graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Dr. Gabe has many interests outside of dentistry. He enjoys traveling, landscape photography, hunting, fishing, wine making, gardening and woodworking. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys cheering on the Wolverines, Tigers, Lions, Redwings and Pistons.
Dr. Gabe is a proud member of the San Marino Social Club in Troy. San Marino is the third smallest country in Europe and is located in Northern Italy. Both of Dr. Gabe’s parents immigrated to Michigan from this country in the early 1950s.

Qualifications and C.E. Classes:
Dr. Bugli started off working in a large group practice for 3 years under the watchful eye of experienced practitioners. Since then he has taken numerous continuing education courses. Some of his advanced areas of study include: classes in TMJ evaluation and treatment at the Dawson Institute, material update classes with Gordon Christianson, completed an oral sedation program at the Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation, oral sedation classes through the University of North Carolina, sleep apnea treatment with oral appliances and oral surgery classes with Dr. Karl Korner, and various cosmetic dentistry classes. Dr. Bugli has also taken numerous courses in bone grafting and Dental Implantology, including classes at the Engle Implant Institute, University of Detroit and Implant Direct Center.

Treatment Philosophy:
Our office strives to take a preventable approach towards dental care. Early detection and prompt care can help our patients maintain their teeth for life. Discovering dental disease in the early phases has the advantage of saving patients both discomfort and expense. In addition to using visual and radiographic diagnostics, our office also uses laser fluorescence for early cavity detection. Intra-oral Digital photography and digital radiography are also used for detecting and demonstrating adverse dental conditions.
